- SHARE-AP EPI:
a continuation of SHARE-AP study. Completed 185 clinic visits.
- ACCORD:
Action to control Cardiovascular risks in Diabetes. A research study for people with Type 2 Diabetes offering blood glucose control, and/either blood pressure control or cholesterol control. No cost for testing supplies or medications. Three participants here, over 10,000 in total in United States and Canada. Ramdomization was completed.
- DREAM:
Diabetes Reduction Assessment with Medications. DREAM is an international clinical trial that is testing the possibility that either the medication Ramipril and/or Rosiglitazone may reduce the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. DREAM is also looking at factors that may contribute to the development of diabetes so that in the future we can further understand the causes of diabetes. 41 participants.
- EPI-DREAM:
A sub study of DREAM. Participants screened and involved 236. Completed telephone follow-up. 1 year questionnaires.
- SHARE-AP FOLLOW UP:
PHASE II of SHARE-AP, participants completing clinic visit after 5 years. On hold presently.
