Program Activities:
|

The planned annual activities are Prenatal Classes, Parenting resources, Well Baby Clinics, Growth & Development screens, Car Seat Safety Days, Teddy Bear Picnic, and home visits by Family Home Visitors and Community Health Nurses. Check the Healthy Babies Healthy Children quarterly newsletter for other community events for families with children to aged six.

Who Are We:
|
|
All families of newborns in Ontario are offered support at the time of birth through home visits by a Community Health Nurse and Family Home Visitor.

- Two Family Home Visitors are trained community members

Who Do We Help?:
|
|
The program is available to all families from prenatal to age six living on Six Nations of the Grand River by providing support, resources and encouragement through a Nurse and a Family Home Visitor.
Services Offered
Support and resources for preconception, prenatal, postpartum, parenting, breastfeeding, through home visits by a Community Health Nurse and Family Home Visitors.
• Provides support and resources to parents by helping them learn about child development and providing parents with linkages to community services.
• Provides Growth & Development information, Hearing Screens for Infant to 18 months, Budgeting tips and Car Seat Inspections.
• Assist parents in solving everyday challenges.
• Linking and integrating existing programs and services on Six Nations to build on community resources.
